There are two comments for the development team and marketing team: 1/I expected a free trial, and 2/There are so many options that it can be confusing when you are just starting. I would have appreciated less options up front and some video tutorials to introduce me to advanced features.

Can you embed files in a PDF?
You can automatically embed files referenced with file links into the PDF file when you export your project to PDF. This makes it possible to distribute additional files with your PDF document without having to use multiple files.
What does it mean to embed a file?
You can add objects such as a file, an image or an audio file to a Word document, an Excel spreadsheet, an HTML document by linking or embedding. Your file embeds a source file: the data are now stored in your file -- without a connection to the original source file.
Do embedded links work in PDF?
The PDF you've just created can be sent to anyone on any platform, and the embedded links will all work as expected assuming your recipient's reader supports links in PDFs to begin with, of course. Pages, unlike Word, embeds the actual links into the PDF, for both obvious and non-obvious linked items.
