Its user friendly and efficient! It makes all of contracts much easier to implement. It saves all of your information online so doesn't use your memory.

Fax option could be updated and better. I am a notary, but it would be much better if this option was more efficient as well for other people.

We like PDFfiller because our patients don't want to have to waste precious minutes of their appointment time completing a health history update in the office. It's much simpler, not to mention faster, to have them do it at home and submit it when they're done!

The log-in process for the patient who has never used this service. We have a few patients who value their privacy and would rather not have to create an account in order to complete a form.

Saving the doc from the pdf fillable to Word and then making any changes, changes spacing and became difficult to navigate the changes when trying to save as.

I was accidentally billed after cancelling my subscription. I contacted the customer service and was completely blown away by the fantastic and prompt support i received. Basic PDF Editor
I use it for PDFs for our Escrow files. We have clients sign docs and we can make changes to anything that they send us and then send to them to sign off on it
It is easy and very good for a basic PDF editor. You can make simple changes and save it so it looks exactly like a PDF should. You can add and edit text, highlight, adjust sizing, etc.
It is too basic but i understand that it is not Adobe. I wish I could edit the text that is in the PDF more easily to make it match and all look seamless

How is excise tax legal?

What is the purpose of excise tax?
Excise taxes are most often levied upon cigarettes, alcohol, gasoline and gambling. These are often considered superfluous or unnecessary goods and services. To raise taxes on them is to raise their price and to reduce the amount they are used. In this context, excise taxes are sometimes known as “sin taxes.”
Is excise tax federal or state?
Excise tax in the United States is an indirect tax on listed items. Excise taxes can be and are made by federal, state and local governments and are not uniform throughout the United States.
What is meant by excise tax?
Excise tax refers to an indirect type of taxation imposed on the manufacture, sale or use of certain types of goods and products. Excise taxes usually fall into one of two types: Ad Valor em. Meaning that a fixed percentage is charged on a particular good or product.
Who is responsible for excise tax?
The IRS is responsible for handling excise tax returns and collecting the roughly $70 billion in total excise tax revenue owed to the federal government annually. At the state level, various enforcement agencies and tax collection entities often work together to enforce the excise tax.
Why do governments use excise taxes?
Excise taxes are selective taxes on the sale or use of specific goods and services, such as alcohol and gasoline. In addition to generating needed revenue, excise taxes can be designed to control externalities and to impose tax burdens on those who benefit from government spending.
Do bars pay excise tax?
California. Customers in California pay an extra $3.30 a gallon excise tax. All alcoholic beverages are subject to the general sales tax. The statewide rate is 7.25%.
Do bars charge tax on drinks?
If the restaurant does, there is no sales tax -- the business pays a mixed beverage tax on its overall alcohol sales. The tax is rolled up into the cost of each drink, instead of being tacked on at the end. The rates are different, though. Sales tax hovers around 8.25 percent, depending on where you're imbibing.
