On the Design tab, select Watermark. In the Insert Watermark dialog, select Text and either type your own watermark text or select one, like DRAFT, from the list. Then, customize the watermark by setting the font, layout, size, colors, and orientation. ... Select OK.
Open the Word document, go to your cover page and then Page layout > Margins > Custom margins. Choose 0" as the margin width for top, bottom, left and right. Copy-paste your image into the page, resize it to fit the entire page. Go to Page Layout > Breaks > Section breaks > Next page.
resize it, first open the header pane by double-clicking in the header area. Then you'll be able to select the watermark and drag its sides or corners.
Double-click the header to activate the header/footer area, and then you will be able to select the watermark and change its properties, including resizing it.
Click the Design tab. In the Page Background group, click the Watermark button. A menu plops down with a host of predefined watermarks that you can safely duck behind the text on your document's pages. Choose a watermark from the menu. The watermark is applied to every page in your document.

Use a Keyboard Shortcut To View Word Full Screen While you're viewing a document in the normal mode, and you want to make it full-screen, simply press the Alt + V keys at the same time on your keyboard. Then immediately press the U button on your keyboard and your document takes up your entire screen.
To adjust the transparency of a watermark, double-click the header and under shape fill, select a darker shade for the watermark.
