After you have launched your store and have made sales, you need to contact Shopify Support to change your store currency. You can view and change your store currency from the Store currency section of the General settings page.
Log into your Shopify store- www.shopify.com/login. Go to your Shopify store dashboard. On the Shopify admin panel, go to the Themes tab and click on Customize Theme button in the top right corner of the window that pops up. Scroll down and click on Money Options tab to view the currency settings:
To change some currency numbers to another type of currency, such as Euros, select the cells you want to change. In the Number section of the Home tab, click he Number Format button in the lower-right corner of the section. On the Number tab, Currency should be selected in the Category list.
Make sure you switch on the Unlock, press and hold down the Alt key, type the Alt Code value of the Dollar Sign 3 6 on the numeric pad, release the Alt key, and you got a $ Dollar Sign. Or you can just press and hold down the Shift + 4 key to get the $ Dollar Sign.
You can write the amount in words by writing the number of whole dollars first, followed by the word 'dollars'. Instead of the decimal point, you will write the word 'and,' followed by the number of cents, and the word 'cents'.
Click on the More options button in the upper left corner on the Search page. Scroll down to the Currency field and select your desired currency. Your search results will be displayed in the specified currency.
