I am just learning about this program. So far it is easy and appears secure. I have used PDF filler often to complete PDF forms. The program is very user friendly. I love it!

I really don't have any negative feedback about the software. Sometimes the text of the document overlaps and I have not figured out how to avoid that from happening.

Does a contractor need to provide receipts?
No, if it is a contract job with a fixed price. If it is a T&M job with a fixed margin on materials (that is you pay material cost plus a percentage (often 15%)) then you may ask for receipts, absolutely. Some stuff will come from stock, such as nails, some wood, some paint, some small stuff.
How long does a contractor have to submit an invoice?
1 attorney answer There is no deadline to send a bill. However, there is a statute of limitations to bring a claim. The contractor must bring this claim within 6 years of doing the work in order to be able to recover.
Is there a time limit on invoicing?
There is no specific time limit set for invoices. The legal wording generally used is that an invoice must be issued within a “reasonable” amount of time. The definition of reasonable varies depending on the industry you are in, state and about any other circumstance you could think of.
Do contractors have to provide receipts?
Answers (1-10) If a contractor is working on a time/material basis with a markup or fee. Then yes he has an obligation to furnish the underlying receipts and sub invoices. If the contract is being completed on a set price, then no, he has no obligation to furnish underlying receipts/invoices.
How do I invoice a contractor?

It is the amount a business charges above their direct cost. If your contractor has a 1.50 markup (which is reasonable for a remodeling contractor), that means that if the estimated cost for a job is $10,000, they'll multiply the $10,000 × 1.50 and arrive at a $15,000 sales price.

The markup (like has been said) between 10% and 35%. 35% is on the very high side of material though. Ones that charge this are not savvy on their business. Usually the job cost 66% materials/labor and 33% markup AND profit.
