You can email to a Yammer group or Yammer user, and you can reply to a notification email. To email a new message or forward a message to a Yammer group, use the email address group_name+network_name@yammer.com. If there are spaces or punctuation marks in the group name, just omit them.
Go to settings and under Notifications click edit on email, look if you can find the kind of notification you're looking for. You can follow the groups to get notifications on Facebook.
Under the message, click Share. Select Post in a Group or Send Private Message, and select the group or individuals you want to share the conversation with. Add a comment. Click Share. Then, choose the Don't send email updates option. To leave the group and stop getting emails, click Leave group.
