American or Canadian citizens must present a valid passport and a connecting flight or return ticket. For naturalized citizens, you will need an original naturalization certificate with an identity photo. The maximum authorized stay on St. Martin for tourists is 3 months.
How long can a US citizen stay in St. Maarten?
U.S. citizens are allowed to stay in Sint Maarten for a maximum of six months with the possibility to extend.
What documents are required to enter St Maarten?
Entry, Exit and Visa Requirements Upon arrival in Sint Maarten, you must have: a U.S. passport valid for the duration of your stay; a completed Embarkation and Disembarkation Card (ED-Card). You can complete the ED-Card on the airplane en route to Sint Maarten or in advance by using ED-Card Online.
