Classifier in sign language is a signed word that represents a particular group of objects or referents. A classifier handshake may be incorporated with a movement, palm orientation, and/or location to convey rich information in a predicate. There is no ASL without classifiers.
Plural Classifiers: These are classifiers where the handshake and movement show that there is more than one of something. Some handshakes already indicate plurality, like CL:V(two people)walking.
ASL Compound. A single sign is made from two or more signs. Know+continue. remember. eat+sleep.
Signing: Point at your ear with your index finger. Alternatively, you can cup your hand to your ear as if you are straining to hear. Usage: Use the sign for hear to alert your baby that she should listen out for something interesting.

”Shut up" is a direct command with a meaning very similar to “be quiet", but which is commonly perceived as a more forceful command to stop making noise or otherwise communicating, such as talking. The phrase is probably a shortened form of “shut up your mouth" or "shut your mouth up”.
