The forms or finished forms look very neat when they are typed. It seems like a great option for persons to use when their handwriting is not legible.
The words do not stay within the lines. I used the software recently and the office manager had to retype the form because the words did not fit.

Searching for specific wording in a .PDF file
My request for assistance with an issue I didn't know how to fix was answered very quickly and I was back to work. Unlike most support with other software companies where you wait 3 days for a response requesting additional information then another 3 days for a response and usually goes on and on. pdfFiller was right there and stayed with me until the problem was solved. Anyone dealing with .PDF files and not using pdfFiller is losing out.

I had to use as a one -of to sign a document, but inadvertently signed up to a subscription. The website itself wasn't too clear, so no marks there. However, once i realised i was signed up and contacted the company via email, it was resolved with 2 emails over 2 days - from *********! And with me using my son's email address and forgetting i had done so. Very happy to get a refund. ******, *********

I found myself trying to rate it 4 stars, but it's honest about what it is- a robust, web-based pdf editing tool that doesn't try to be more than it is, and does what it is supposed to do very well.

Can you text patients?
Medical Messages are Okay! The answer is a resounding yes! Medical messages are completely okay, as they are exempt from the written consent rule. In other words, if you have a patient's phone number, you can lawfully text them information without consent so long as the message pertains to their health.
Is texting patients a HIPAA violation?
There is nothing wrong per se with physicians using text messages to communicate with other healthcare professionals and care teams. However, SMS texting is a violation of HIPAA Rules if the text messages contain any protected health information for which a patient had not given their consent.
What are the rules for emails and texting with health information?

Is saying a patient name a HIPAA violation?
Although HIPAA does not prohibit calling out patient names in the waiting room, names alone can reveal health information, especially in a highly specialized facility. In a small town, where almost everyone knows each other, calling patient names in a waiting room is not releasing PHI and is not a violation of HIPAA.
