Well I paid for the year then could not access a file I did the same day. Then I sent my accountant a file via attachment since he says "not technical" & could not open it in pdfiller file, so I sent as attachment so he could complete but he could not so he wrote it in now I have to complete it & paying him the same.

The software is excellent - really easy to use. I wasn#t sure whether to pay for something I'll only use a few times a year but decided to do so simply to save time searching for free software that probably wouldn't be as good. One minor niggle: I paid on my debit card and it took me back to the website, whereupon I had to pay again to gain access - not sure if I have paid twice or not. Would have been five stars other than for that.

I had to use as a one -of to sign a document, but inadvertently signed up to a subscription. The website itself wasn't too clear, so no marks there. However, once i realised i was signed up and contacted the company via email, it was resolved with 2 emails over 2 days - from *********! And with me using my son's email address and forgetting i had done so. Very happy to get a refund. ******, *********

Cost to Take the Exam: $15 This cost is pretty much unavoidable. You are basically paying to print the exams and for the time of the volunteers. The exam has to be in-person, just like most licenses like your Driver's License, Concealed Carry, etc. etc.

Getting a ham license is not that difficult. My two sons both passed the Technician test in the early 1990s when they were about 8 and 10 years old. Both of them also passed the 5 word per minute code test which used to be a requirement if you wanted to operate in the HF bands.
