I was sold on the ability to edit anything on the document easily with PDF filler. I have the latest copy of Nuance Power PDF Standard that I used to create an editable form and I could not figure out how to edit some of the fields on the PDF doc. (I believe the source PDF file may have been poorly designed for computer input.) Anyway, I find PDF filler very easy to use--no need to convert the document to a form--just start editing with the various tools. Neat!

How do I convert a PDF file to a locked Excel file?
Locate the PDF on your computer. Right click on it and click Open With then choose Google Chrome.
Once Google Chrome has loaded, enter the password for the PDF.
Next, right-click on the PDF and select Print.
You will now have the option to choose where to save the PDF.
The PDF no longer has password protection.
Can you convert a PDF to Excel on Mac?
Convert a Single PDF to Excelled can click on the “File” > “Export To” button on the top menu bar. Choose “Excel” to activate the conversion window. Click “save” to start converting PDF to Excel.
