This morning my subscription to PdfFiller was automatically renewed. Once I realized it, I notified the company to cancel my subscription and to provide a refund. Within a short time, I received a response confirming that the subscription was canceled and that the charge was reversed. I use the pdf merge feature constantly. It's great for compiling packets, assorted documents, expense reports etc.

It's not cheap, limited to uploading 5 docs

sometimes the app freezes and takes a few minutes to load which can be inconvenient when files are needed quickly. Also some features also drag for example the signature portion. Overall great app which I use daily for my work.

How to Use the Paste PDF Feature in pdfFiller
The Paste PDF feature in pdfFiller allows you to easily merge the content of one PDF document into another. Follow these simple steps to use this feature:

Problem: Pasting text with C-y typically inherits a lot of the new lines that PDF text tends to carry, requiring me to fix the text manually. Solution: M-q, fill-column, does well to reformat the text I yank from PDFs into paragraphs of length determined by Emacs'. Younger's answer below clarified my problem.

How do I enable copy and paste in PDF?
Open the PDF document in Reader. Right-click the document, and choose Document Properties. Click the Security tab, and review the Document Restrictions Summary. Check whether the content copying is allowed.
How do I paste a PDF file?
Open the PDF document in Reader. Choose Edit > Copy File to Clipboard. The content is copied to the clipboard. In an another application, choose Edit > Paste to paste the copied content.
Why can't I copy and paste from a PDF?
If you can't copy text from PDF, it's most likely because the Content Copying option is disabled. You'll need the password for the PDF to unlock that feature.
Is there a way to copy and paste from a PDF?
Copy text and images from PDFs Right-click the document, and choose Select Tool from the pop-up menu. Drag to select text, or click to select an image. Right-click the selected item, and choose Copy.
