Can I shower with ip55?
Can I use these while swimming and/or showering? IP55 waterproof. This means basically you can have basic protection from splashing water drops (rain and possibly a shower if you kept them from being directly sprayed with the shower head) and protection from sweat.
Is ip55 rating waterproof?
Before we dig deep into the details, let's start by saying an IP55 certification makes our headphones water-resistant, but not waterproof. We don't recommend completely submerging Aftershock headphones underwater (despite customer claims that their Titanium made it through a few spins in the washing machine).
What does ip55 waterproof mean?
IP55. An IP55 rated product is protected against dust ingress that could be harmful for the normal operation of the product but is not fully dust tight. It is protected against solid objects and water jets projected by a nozzle (6.3 mm) from any directions.

Can ip55 be used outside?
IP55 in particular is a very misunderstood category because it is often sold as being 'as good as weather-protected'. Unfortunately no motor manufacturer will accept a warranty claim for damage to an IP55 motor that has been installed outdoors without a ventilated rain cover.
What is the difference between ip55 and ip65?
What is the difference between IP55 and IP65 protection grade? The protection level of IP55 is level 5, which represents wire protection (diameter greater than or equal to 1 mm) and prevention of harmful dust accumulation. IP65 has a protection level of 6, which means completely preventing dust from entering.
Can I wear my Powerboats pro in the shower?
We do not recommend showering with the Powerboats Pro, using them in the rain, swimming with them, or otherwise exposing them to excessive moisture. Even when things are decently water resistant, the water resistance can wear down over time, so it's going to be best to keep the Powerboats Pro as dry as possible.
How waterproof are the Powerboats pro?
Best Answer: No, they are not waterproof. Beat states that they are “Sweat and water resistant”. Although it's not included in the marketing material, more is reporting that Beats has confirmed in a marketing flier sent out to reviewers that the Powerboats Pro carry an IPX4 rating.
