When should we fill IT 2 form?
This Return Form is applicable for assessment year 2019-20 only, i.e., it relates to income earned in Financial Year 2018-19. 2.
What are IT 1 IT 2?
Under Form ITR-1, the individual is not earning an income from through activities like the lottery, gambling etc. On the other hand, in ITR-2, the individual earns through activities like a lottery, gambling etc. Income from Property. The individual earns from 1 house property only.
Can a salaried person file IT 2?
If you have income above Rs 50 lakhs, you can file IT 2, IT 3 or IT 4 (Sugar) depending upon your source of income. If you are salaried individual having income above Rs 50 lakhs, you should file IT 2.
Is balance sheet compulsory for IT 2?
Separately, individuals and Huts carrying on any business or profession are required to file details of assets and liabilities through a Balance Sheet. The schedule AL is required to be filled by taxpayers filing ITR-2 which includes taxpayers having income above Rs 50 lakh.
Can IT 2 form be filled online?
Every taxpayer who is eligible to file IT Form 2 can submit it online on e-filing portal of Income Tax Department. IT can be filed electronically using the digital signature. However, it is not mandatory to file IT Form 2 online using digital signatures only.
