hi so here's a quick tutorial on how to delete comments highlights underlines and the likes in a pdf file using adobe reader so first you have to of course adobe acrobat reader on your computer then open your pdf file on adobe reader so i have a pdf that has several markings and highlights here i just want to show you the pages by scrolling down so you see this panel on the right side just click the comments right here and wait for the list to appear right here so this is the list of all the comments highlights underlines and all markings made by the previous user who apparently is named ryan you'll notice that all markings are arranged by page so if you click a comment for example on page 1 it will automatically select that comment which is a red underline this one is an arrow and this is a green highlight now let's try to delete one first then i'll show you how to delete all comments later so to delete just click this icon that shows three dots then click delete to delete several comments just click one and then scroll down then press shift plus click on the last comment that you wanna delete then right click and choose delete just bear in mind that if there are too many comments like this one which has above 1000 comments adobe acrobat reader might freeze you when deleting all 1000 comments at once so i suggest that you delete half of the comments first then delete the other remaining half after finally if you want to delete all just click the first one from the list and then scroll down to the bottom of the list and click shift plus click the last comment and then right click and then choose delete and that's it don't forget to subscribe to our channel for more informative and helpful features like this thank you for watching you
