What do you like best?
I love how I can neatly complete compliance filings that don't have a fillable PDF format using PDF filler. I can type on the form in PDF filler instead of having to print a hard copy and hand write or use a typewriter - who even has access to one of those anymore, lol?
What do you dislike?
It can be tricky to get the alignment just right and then save the completed document.

Who fills out 1040-ES?
But if you're self-employed, you might have to make quarterly estimated tax payments toward the amount you expect to owe the IRS or you might have an underpayment penalty. These payments should include both your income and self-employment taxes and are reported via Form 1040-ES.
How to calculate AGI for 1040-ES?
Example Adjusted Gross Income (AGI)=gross income–adjustments. Gross Income=Total income. Income from all sources of income. Adjustments=Expenses the taxpayer paid for with income that the government deems should not be taxed.
What is the 1040-ES deduction?
The IRS provides Form 1040-ES for you to calculate and pay estimated taxes for the current year. While the 1040 relates to the previous year, the estimated tax form calculates taxes for the current year. You use Form 1040-ES to pay income tax, self-employment tax and any other tax you may be liable for.
Why does TurboTax say I need to pay estimated taxes?
In most cases, to avoid a penalty, you need to make estimated tax payments if you expect to owe $1,000 or more in taxes for the year—over and above the amount withheld from your wages or other income. In some cases, though, the $1,000 trigger point doesn't matter.
How to enter 1040-ES on TurboTax?
Where do I enter my estimated tax payments? Open or continue your return. Go to the Federal section, then Deductions & Credits. Select Estimates and Other Taxes Paid. Select Start or Revisit next to Estimated Tax Payments. Choose Start next to the type of estimated tax payment you'd like to enter.
What happens if I don't pay 1040-ES?
If you don't pay your estimated taxes on time (or if you don't pay enough), the IRS can charge you a penalty. The amount you owe increases the longer you go without payment.
