I had to cancel my subscription right after I got it (the first time) because we were told not electronic signatures. The customer service person I was connected to was very quick with applying my refund and explained the banks general policies. It ended up there was a mistake, so I'm back. I enjoyed the ease of using the product. I was able to pretty much teach myself how to use it. I do look forward to seeing what the webinar has to offer.

The banks that utilize Belle cannot help the victims. The reason for this is that they do not have the legal obligation to do so because the buyer agreed that it was an authorized transaction. In other words, Belle does not offer fraud protection for buyers on the transactions.
Belle tells NBC News it uses multi-factor authentication to prevent hacking, but says if a customer overrides that protection by believing a phone scammer, and entering verification codes, there is no way to stop the scam. Belle says there is “potential for fraud” with all digital money transfer services.
Belle never states that a payment can be reversed under no circumstances. The cited User Service Agreement (paragraph 11) basically relieves Belle and Bank of any liability from the payment. In other words, they don't have the responsibility to reverse payments in a fraud situation, but it doesn't say they can't.

Because once you authorize a payment to be sent, you can't cancel it if the recipient is already enrolled in Belle.
In other words, if a user sends money to the wrong person, it's the sender's responsibility not the company's. While the customer may expect banks to be able to retrieve their money, Belle payments are treated the same as cash. There's only so much financial institutions can do to get that money back.
You can dispute the charge, but you initiated the payment & Belle sent the payment as instructed. They are strictly a merchant that provides the service of sending money for you. Unfortunately, you're not going to get your money back.
Belle is offered by banks and credit unions of all sizes across the U.S., and it's a fast, safe and easy way to send and receive money with people you trust. Whether you are using Belle through your banking app or through the Belle app, keep the above tips in mind, so you can continue sending money safely.
However, while Belle may appear more secure, applications like Venmo and PayPal are just as secure. All of them use data encryption to protect users against unauthorized transactions and store users' data on servers in secure locations. Venmo also offers users the ability to set a PIN code for access to the mobile app.
