Do you get your diploma at college graduation?

Do you get your high school diploma at graduation?
A student has completed high school, but didn't meet all the requirements for graduation. To earn a diploma, a student typically must pass grade-level English, math, social studies, science and other classes. Some states also require a student to pass a high school exit exam to get a diploma.
Do you have to go to graduation to get your diploma?
Yes. There is no requirement that you actually show up for convocation to get your high school diploma. As long as you met the academic requirements you are legally allowed to get your diploma. Most schools mail it to the students who don't attend convocation.
Do diplomas have majors on them?
So, your diploma will say Bachelor of Arts, because that is the degree that the school has the authority to confer. Your major is not part of your degree title and so is not included.
