Can a lease be transferred?
Not all leases are able to be transferred. Check with your leasing company to determine if you are able to transfer your lease to someone else. Step 2: Find a party to take over your lease. You may know a family member, friend, or coworker who wants to take over your lease.
Can an apartment lease be transferred?
Instead, you can legally transfer your rental lease by assigning it to a new tenant, or you can sublease your home to another renter until your lease is up. You should get your landlord's written permission for an assignment or sublease, especially if your current lease prohibits lease transfers.
Can someone take over my apartment lease?

Can a landlord refuse a lease transfer?
