Grab the Measuring Tape Then divide the square footage of each room by the total footage of all bedrooms this will give you the percentage of rent each person should pay.
Simply measure each bedroom (including closet areas and bathroom, if private to that bedroom), add up the square footage and calculate what percentage of total bedroom space each roommate will have. Apply that percentage to the total rent, and you'll have each roommate's rent share.
Split 50/50. One of the simplest ways to split bills is evenly. All you have to do is look at the bill amount and divide by 2 (or more if you have multiple roommates). Once you have the amounts figured out, nominate someone to handle the bill paying process.
