Amazing value!
I just purchased a subscription to PDFFiller due to being unhappy with a recent upgrade to Adobe's Document Cloud, and I'm absolutely thrilled with it so far, although I have been having some minor challenges. I suspect this is just part of the learning curve, but twice I contacted the online chat support and I am happy to say I was working with actual humans who were clearly native English speakers - a huge time saver when there isn't a language barrier!
The challenges pertain to sharing documents. I was not signed up for the E-Sign upgrade, and shouldn't need to be in order to obtain client signatures, as far as I can tell. However, I don't mind signing up for E-Sign, and because the price is very reasonable, I went ahead and upgraded. I'm not certain what level of security is necessary for my line of work, and there are numerous choices available. Also, I had a problem when asking for phone number authentication, something that apparently can't be used when a document is emailed vs. sending a link. I'm still learning, but this is easily the most user-friendly .pdf system that allows for client signatures AND .pdf creations and edits, all while retaining security measures.

Pre Employment Applicaiton
I work in HR and needed help with setting up an application to generate the same information such as name, DOB, etc on all pages to save time. Rep Kara was amazing! She was able to use my application and turn it into a pre-fillable form. Kara also provided me instructions on how to set up what I needed.

By my own ineptitude I was having trouble printing a document. I thought I had to upgrade and then found out I didn't have to. So I reached out to get a refund and keep my original subscription and got that refund in MINUTES! I am a VERY happy, satisfied subscriber! And, I'm getting better at it :)

Does Medicare accept stamped signatures?
Medicare requires that services provided/ordered be authenticated by the author. The method used should be a handwritten or electronic signature. Under certain circumstances, a rubber-stamped signature is acceptable.
What does Provider signature mean?
A signature log is a typed listing of physicians and NPS identifying their names with a corresponding handwritten signature. This may be an individual log or a group log. A signature log may be used to establish signature identity as needed throughout the medical record.

What is an acceptable signature?
Usually, a signature is simply someone's name written in a stylized fashion. However, that is not really necessary. As long as it adequately records the intent of the parties involved in a contractual agreement, it's considered a valid signature. Usually this mark is made by a pen, but not necessarily.
How long does a provider have to sign a medical record?
Most importantly, have a policy in place that that holds you and other providers in your office to a standard time period, perhaps 36 hours, to have a signature on the chart. These two policies will help ensure there are no compliance or billing issues caused by the lack of a timely signature.
Can one physician sign for another?
Can doctors working in the same practice sign orders for each other? One doctor has ordered, but another signs the order. CMS Transmittal 327 CR 6698, states physicians cannot sign for the other physicians.
Does a physician need to sign all NP charts?
There is no state where the law requires physicians to sign every one of a nurse practitioner's (NP's) charts.
Does a physician have to sign off on a nurse practitioner?
There are specific Medicare regulations and guidelines for the non-physician practitioners. A supervising physician counter signature is not required for a nurse practitioner that has his/her own NPI (provider number) working within the scope of their practice under state laws as an independent nurse practitioner.
