How do you unlock notifications?
Open your phone's Settings app. Tap Apps & notifications. Notifications. Under Recently Sent, tap an app. Tap a type of notification. Choose your options: Choose Alerting or Silent. To see a banner for alerting notifications when your phone is unlocked, turn on Pop on screen.
How can I see notifications without unlocking?
To preview your notifications on the Lock screen without unlocking your device, go to Settings > Notifications > Show Previews, and Always select.
Why can't I see notifications on my lock screen?
Simply go to Settings > Notifications and select the app that you are not seeing its notifications, e.g., Messages, then switch off Show in History. 4- Restart your iPhone or iPad. Go to Settings > Notifications > Select the app and toggle off Allow Notifications and wait a few seconds and then turn it back on.
Why don't I get text notifications when my phone is locked?
Go to Settings > Notifications > Messages and verify that Show on Lock Screen is toggled on. For sound alerts, also check that Settings > Notifications > Messages > Sounds has an alert type selected and does not display None or Vibrate Only unless that's the setting you want.
