On your Course Site, under the Control Panel, click Grade Center, and then click Full Grade Center. Click Create Calculated Column. Select Total Column. Enter a Column Name. Enter a Description (Optional). Select a Primary Display. Select a Secondary Display (Optional).
Under the control panel click the Grade Center bar on the menu and then select Full Grade Center. Once inside the Grade Center, click Create Column on the Action Bar. On the Create Grade Column page, enter the Column Name and optional Description. ... Select the Primary Display from the drop-down list.
Login to your Blackboard course. Click on Full Grade Center in your course's Control Panel. Click on the MANAGE menu and choose Grading Schemas from the choices. Then, click on the CREATE GRADING SCHEMA button. Add a descriptive NAME for your Schema.
In Section 3: Select Columns, you will specify how Blackboard will calculate the percentage grade. Click on the Total Column (left pane). Then click the > button to pop it over into the Selected Columns section (right pane). This will basically tell Blackboard to convert your total score into a percentage.

To find your weighted average grade, multiply each grade by its assigned weight (expressed as a decimal). If the assigned weights add up to 1, you're done. If the assigned weights don't equal 1, divide your sum by the total of the assigned weights.
