Have not been able to successfully append a document more than 5 pages. That process does not appear to be very user friendly to figure out. Would love some guidance on how to do specific things with this program now that I have purchased it for a year!

The prenup was signed under fraud, duress or undue influence. If one party took advantage of the other party in order to get him or her to sign the agreement, then the prenup could be thrown out. Even being pressured into signing the contract too close to the wedding date can be considered duress.
Unfortunately, prenups don't hold up in divorce court 100 percent of the time. Judges can and have thrown them out when certain aspects are in flagrant violation of the law or public policy. If you changed your mind about your agreement after you signed it, you might have voided it as well.
Prenuptial agreements should be drafted by an attorney and are a binding contract between two people intending to get married. Depending on which state a couple lives in, their prenuptial agreement could be a matter of public record.
So if a lawyer has not advised the party and signed off on the prenuptial agreement (completed the certificate of independent legal advice), the waiver is not enforceable. ... No, you do not need to file your prenuptial agreement anywhere.
The agreement was signed under fraud or duress; The agreement is unconscionable; The circumstances of the parties have changed, making the agreement unenforceable at this time.
You and your future spouse might agree that your prenuptial agreement only remains in force during the first 10 or 20 years of your marriage. Another option is to include terms that dictate that your separate property becomes marital property after a certain period of time.
Prenups That Expire After a Certain Number of Years Something like, after five years of marriage, the prenup will no longer be valid. If the couple is still married on that date, the prenup will expire and assets and liabilities will be distributed according to the law of the state.
Some prenups include sunset clauses -- agreed times at which they cease to be valid. You and your future spouse might agree that your prenuptial agreement only remains in force during the first 10 or 20 years of your marriage.
This is usually a shortcut to a prenuptial agreement that does not hold up under the scrutiny of the court. Prenuptial agreements are not magic, and they do not grant special immunity against basic matrimony laws to those who use them.
While prenups are not yet legally binding, they may be by the time you come to divorce, or they could likely be upheld by a judge if they meet the qualifying criteria.
