Then hover your mouse over the top-level text and notice the little handle that appears. Put your cursor over this, double-click and hey presto all the text below has been hidden. You now see a small [+] next to the text that can be used to expand the hidden text.
Open your Notebook in OneNote Online. Look in the navigation area on the left side of the screen. Click on the icon that looks like three stacked lines (the hamburger or the flapjacks icon). Click on the navigation icon and select Hide All from the list.
OneNote doesn't "hide" notes in the sense that they're invisible; it hides them behind passwords and encryption instead.
You can close any notebook that you're no longer actively working in (for example, when a project is completed). Closing a notebook does not delete its content it merely removes the name of the notebook from your list of recent notebooks.
You can help keep your private notes safe from prying eyes by protecting a OneNote notebook section with a password. When a section is password-protected, all of its pages are locked until you enter the correct password. Right-click the section tab you want to protect and then choose Password Protect this Section.
You can also press Alt+Shift+minus sign to collapse or Alt+Shift+plus sign to expand subtopics. Select topics at different levels Right-click the paragraph handle and then, on the shortcut menu that appears, point to Select. On the submenu that appears, choose a level.
Collapse and expand subpages If you click a page that has subpages, lines representing stacked subpages appear under the page tab. Click the chevron next to the page tab on the right to expand or collapse the subpages under it.
Steps: In OneNote -> File -> Options -> Options Window -> Display. Uncheck option "Show note containers on pages", click "OK" button.
To remove space from between notes, click the Insert Space button again. Then place the icon above the lower of the two notes where you want to reduce the space. Then click and drag upwards towards the first note to move the content below the line upward in the page.
