How do I add up hours on Upwork?
Go to My Jobs Work Diary and select the contract from the dropdown menu. Select the day you want to add hours to and click Add Manual Time. Select the time period, add a description of the work, and click Save.
How long does it take to get money from Upwork?
It will be Available after 5 days. If the client doesn't respond, Upwork approves it automatically after 14 days, and you get paid after the 5 days period. For the hourly contracts, you bill your client using the time tracking by Upwork Desktop software.

How often does Upwork screenshot?
When a freelancer tracks time using the Upwork Desktop App, a screenshot and activity summary is uploaded to each 10-minute segment in the Work Diary. Activity associated with a screen capture may span two billing segments.
How does Upwork work hourly?
As a freelancer, your billing period for hourly contracts* begins on Monday and ends on Sunday. Your funds are available 10 days later. When working hourly contracts, all time logged in the Work Diary by the freelancer is automatically invoiced to the client using the schedule below.
How does the Upwork Time Tracker work?
When you use your Upwork Desktop App to log your time, it takes a snapshot six times per hour.
