How to Use the Add Smart Field PDF Feature

The Add Smart Field PDF feature in pdfFiller allows you to easily add interactive fields to your PDF documents. Follow these steps to use this feature:

Login to your pdfFiller account or create a new account if you don't have one already.

Upload the PDF document you want to add smart fields to. You can either drag and drop the file or click on the 'Upload' button.

Once the document is uploaded, click on the 'Add Smart Field' button located in the toolbar at the top of the page.

A sidebar will appear on the right side of the screen with a list of available smart fields. Choose the type of smart field you want to add, such as text field, checkbox, or signature field.

Click on the desired smart field and drag it onto the document where you want it to be placed. You can resize and reposition the smart field as needed.

Customize the smart field properties by clicking on it. You can change the field name, default value, font size, and other options.

Repeat steps 4 to 6 to add more smart fields to the document.

Once you have added all the necessary smart fields, click on the 'Save' button to save the changes to the document.

You can now download the filled PDF document or share it with others by clicking on the 'Download' or 'Share' button respectively.

This is the only app I can erase and… This is the only app I can erase and fill-in easily so I love it. However, the signing function is glitchy so I use Docu or Adobe sign for that. Still, soooo worth it b/c of the Erase and Fill features.
