How long does it take to get subsidized child care?

The overpayment is $2,750 for FT and Child Care Subsidy. We'll use the $1,300 we withheld to reduce the amount of Child Care Subsidy owed. They'll still have to pay back $1,450.
How long does it take to balance child care subsidy?
This can take up to 28 days from when you and your partner get your Notice of Assessments. Once we have this information, we'll balance your FT. When we balance your FT, we'll also check if you can get any supplements for the 2018-19 financial year.

To get Child Care Subsidy you need to submit a claim. You must be using an approved child care provider. If eligible, we'll pay the subsidy directly to your provider. If eligible, we may be able to backdate your subsidy for up to 28 days.
Does Centrelink back pay child care subsidy?
Families should sign in to their Centrelink online account through gov and complete a Child Care Subsidy claim.
