There is no direct way to fax from a fax machine to an email address. Faxing to an email address is something that can only be done if the receiving party has an online fax service or fax machine that can receive the incoming fax and convert it to an email.
Send and receive fax from Google applications: Thanks to the FAX.PLUS Google integration feature, not only you use your Google Voice for faxing, you can also send fax from Google Docs, Google Sheets and even from your Gmail account.
Click the Start button, click All Programs and then click Windows Fax and Scan. At the bottom of the left pane, click Fax and then click New Fax on the toolbar to launch the Fax Setup wizard. Click Connect to a fax modem and follow the instructions.
Open the program you want to use to receive the fax. Wait for the fax line to ring. When the line rings, there should be a button that says answer fax. Press it. The fax software will answer the line and receive the fax. The fax will be received electronically. It can then be printed.
How to send a fax using the document feeder. Once the fax feature has been added to the printer, select the fax feature and operate the printer as you would a regular fax machine. Put the document in the feeder, dial the number you want to fax, and then press the send button.
