I went into your chat hoping to get… I went into your chat hoping to get answers to my inquiries regarding my account and why I couldn't locate what it kept telling me that I should be seeing. Kara was the second chat agent I messaged in this desire to find out what I was doing wrong... which is fine. The first agent was like an operator I assume... finding out what I needed exactly and then transferring me to the right team. Which happened really QUICKLY!! I am NOT used to any online chats actually being able to do anything as fast as this happened today! Much less get an agent that could actually help me... TODAY was the first in a very LOOOONG time! Kara was GREAT!!! She needs a raise and maybe a promotion. Thanks again, Kara!!! KUDOS to Kara!!! The one entity that I HAD dedicated my loyalty to (Best Buy) for over a decade... is now in my rearview mirror!!!! They are atrocious at helping anyone with anything online!!! The store employees have to go through the same phone number we do, so they're worthless! And corporate Best Buy... smh... I won't get ugly here, but just state that they were the final straw that broke the camel's back!! I will NEVER give them any more of my time or money!!! Use polite language, a calm tone and reserved body language. Speak clearly and loudly enough to be heard, but don't shout. Don't wave your hands or otherwise make unnecessary gestures when you are speaking to the judge. Always speak politely and respectfully to the judge and all other court officials.
Call the judge “Your Honor” if addressing the judge directly. At other times, you can refer to the judge as “Your Honor” or “the Court”. Stand when you are speaking.
Dress appropriately. Come to court clean, well-groomed, and conservatively dressed. Act seriously and respectfully. Take a deep breath and tell the truth. Do not talk over someone in the courtroom. Answer questions. Remain calm. Modify your statement, if needed. Avoid talking in absolutes.
Dress Professionally. When you watch someone give an important presentation or speech, you don't expect the speaker to come unshaven, wearing a dirty shirt and ripped jeans. Keep Your Emotions in Check. Show Respect for the Judge. Show Respect for Others. Be Honest.
Don't Look Like a Slob. Don't Look Too Fancy or Flashy. Stay On Point, Answer Exactly What the Judge Asks, and Speak Clearly. Be Prepared with Your Documentation and Don't Make Excuses For Your Screw-Ups. If You're Winning, Shut Up.
