Once you're ready to submit your application and pay your application fee, you simply need to go to the “Review and Submit — Common App” section for that specific college. Once you've confirmed that your application is ready to be submitted, you'll be routed to our third party payment vendor to pay your fee.

If you cannot submit your application, check to make sure you are applying for a current start term and decision plan. For example, if the Early Action deadline has passed, you cannot apply for Early Action.
The RCS themselves can be submitted after the application deadline. The same rule also applies for the counselor rec. If it's something that someone else is writing for you, it doesn't have to be in by the deadline.
A: The Common App is a powerful tool, so use it! Even more helpful, you can fill out The Common Application once and send it to any of the 456 Common App schools. This is a huge time saver. Don't be afraid that colleges will pay less attention to The Common App than their own application they won't.

To meet an application deadline, you must submit your application materials by 11:59 pm on the deadline date posted on your Dashboard. The end of the deadline date is in your local time zone, not the college's time zone. Keep in mind, all timestamps are recorded in EST (US Eastern Standard Time).
You are allowed to submit your application before your counselor or teachers submit their school forms whether they choose to do so online or on paper. The Common Application system allows recommendations to be submitted even after the application has been submitted.
