Filling out form was fine. I felt like I should have been told there was a cost associated with use before I filled out form, not when I finished. At that point I didn't feel like handwriting everything, so I paid for subscription. I can't justify spending $72.00 a year for something I will seldom use. Wish I would have known up front this was not free.

Under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLEA), certain domestic service workers are exempt from minimum wage and overtime provisions. The companionship services exemption to minimum wage and overtime pay isn't applicable when the employee spends more than 20 percent of the work week performing care services.
Employees providing “companionship services” as defined by the FLEA need not be paid the minimum wage or overtime. Certified nurse aides and home health care aides may be considered exempt from the FLEA's wage requirements depending upon the nature of their work.
If you hire the live-in caregiver directly, you must pay the caregiver minimum wage, but you are not required to pay overtime. Employees who are entitled to overtime pay can receive one and a half times their normal rate for every hour worked over 40 hours a week.
According to the Federal Labor Standards Act (FLEA) of 1938, household employees whether they are live-in or live-out are eligible to receive overtime after forty hours of work in one work week (seven consecutive days).
