I found PDF filler to be very helpful, however there was a bit of confusion with the cost of the account account. I I thought that I would be getting charged $6 dollars per month however my bank account was charged $72 dollars for an entire years subscription. I do not fill out enough documents to make a years subscription worthwhile. If that is the case, I think the website should give you the option of a 30 day trial period, and then give you the option of committing to a 1 year subscription. Otherwise, be more clear that you all are charging the entire $72 as oppose to the $6 per month. I have since canceled my subscription and I do not intend to use the website any longer. I would definitely like a refund effective immediately.

Again, note that FER PA does not give you the right to see your letters of recommendations before they are sent. In the academic world, recommendation letters tend to be kept confidential. Your teacher or counselor may show you the letter and ask for your feedback or revisions, but this depends on the person.
Can I see my letters of recommendation on variance?
From the Variance homepage, click on the colleges link in the upper right-hand corner, then click the colleges' homepage link under the colleges section. Click on Letters of Recommendation in to Apply to Colleges section. You can also include any specifics that you want mentioned in your letter.
Does variance automatically send letters of recommendation?
Variance lets you search for colleges and keep track of deadlines and submitted documents. Your Variance account and all the documents it collects, including your recommendation letters, will sync up to your Common Application and any other school applications that accept e-docs.
Can you see your teacher recommendations on common app?
You can't do that through Common App. However, if you DO NOT waive your FER PA rights when submitting your application, you will be able to view your recommendations (if you are enrolled in a college that saves the rec letters, or you are 18+ years of age).

Your first step in completing the recommendation letter requirement through the Common Application is signing your FER PA waiver. Once you sign this, you'll be able to invite recommenders. First, head to the Colleges tab. From there, you'll be able to assign recommenders by each individual college on your list.
