What do you like best?
I like that the program is pretty intuitive and that I’m able to figure most things out on my own. I am able to erase and utilize previously filled forms that otherwise I might have to obtain from another source. The time and energy savings for me offsets the cost. In addition, I like being able to work on the program from a mobile standpoint - as long as I have cell phone or internet connectivity, I’m able to access and work on documents at my convenience.
What do you dislike?
Nothing that I really dislike. I still struggle with how to send a document directly out of the program to someone that may or may not have sufficiently updated software or skills to open. I’ve worked around this by saving the document and then sending from a cloud storage site.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I’ve used tillable Adobe programs and PDFfiller meets or exceeds the capabilities of the Adobe programs I have used.

PDFfiller does a good job at understanding how to format common documents and makes it easy for me to download files after filling them out. I think that the pricing for PDFfiller is very reasonable and the website is designed very professionally.

Everyone on our team that uses PDFfiller was able to start using it without problems pretty quickly.

Very pleased with the customer care
I was new to using pdf filler and had a small technical issue with text auto deleting, so I hopped onto the chat where Sam helped fix the issue using screen share via a Zoom call, he kept me informed of what he was doing and the issue was resolved quickly. A simple to use platform that gets the job done as long as your prescription is up to date, all good. Can edit docs and pdf and save as doc and editable pdf's if required. That's all I need it for.

How do I get HUD certified?
To become a HUD certified housing counselor, a counselor must meet the following two eligibility requirements: 1) pass the HUD Housing Counselor Certification written examination and 2) work for an agency approved to participate in HUD's Housing Counseling Program.
What is the difference between Section 8 voucher and certificate?
The two major HUD tenant-based subsidy programs, the Section 8 Certificate Program and the Section 8 Voucher Program, are very similar in concept and operation. The difference between these amounts is the subsidy payment made on behalf of the tenant.
What is a Section 8 certificate?
The Section 8 Rental Certificate program increases affordable housing choices for very low-income households by allowing families to choose privately owned rental housing. Families apply to a local public housing authority (PHA) or administering governmental agency for a Section 8 certificate.
Is Section 8 or HUD better?
HUD housing is owned by the federal government. Most HUD housing consists of apartments, although there are some duplexes, townhouses and single-family houses available. Section 8 allows participants to rent private residences, including apartments, condominiums, townhouses, trailers, duplexes and single-family houses.
What is the most Section 8 will pay?
Under the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher program, most tenants will pay 30% of their monthly income. The Public Housing Authority that issued and approved the voucher will pay the landlord the remainder of the rent and utility costs.
What is a Section 8 voucher?
The Section 8 program allows private landlords to rent apartments and homes at fair market rates to qualified low income tenants, with a rental subsidy administered by Home Forward. Section 8 is a common name for the Housing Choice Voucher Program, funded by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
How much will my Section 8 voucher be?
If they are approved, selected and then find an apartment or house with the voucher, their local housing authority starts sending payments directly to landlords. The payments cover some or all of the voucher holder's rent. On average, each household will pay somewhere between 30% and 40% of its income on rent.
How does Section 8 determine voucher amount?
Your PHA will calculate the maximum voucher amount. The maximum amount is usually the 30% of a family's monthly adjusted income minus the payment standard OR 30% of monthly adjusted income minus the rent payment, whichever is less.
