PDF Filler Software
The pdfFiller is a game changer. The software saves the user time by allowing the user to complete customizable fields and then sign the documents right on the screen. It eliminates the need to print any paperwork if the user chooses not to. The document can be legibly completed by typing directly into the fields which eliminates the effort of having to physically write out what is needed.

I expected an automated response and a week or more wait to resolve an accounting problem, what I experienced was not only a response but total problem resolution in less than and hour. Can you request a copy of your contract?
In other states, giving you a copy of a contract is not required, although it is a good practice to do so. In any case, if you are a party to the contract, you are entitled to have a copy of it for your records. Deliver your request. Call, visit, send the e-mail, or mail the letter.
Does a company have to give you a copy of your contract?
If the actual contract book is not yet printed, federal law requires that the local union provide a photocopy to any member who requests the contract. This is part of the federal Labor Management Reporting and Disclosure Act (LORD).
Does my employer have to give me a copy of my employment contract?
The employer is not required to give you a copy, but certainly were they to take any action to enforce it, one would be made available to you. Generally, the only enforcement provisions that employers take action on are restrictive
Is a contract valid if you are not given a copy?
Unless the agreement itself specifically states that a fully signed copy must be returned to the first party or unless there's a specific regulation that pertains to that specific contract (see Bruce Feldman's answer): Yes. The agreement is still valid if both parties signed.
Who keeps the original copy of a contract?
Each party should get an original signed copy of the contract for their files. That means if there are two parties to the contract, two identical contracts must be signed. One original copy of the contract should go to you, and one original copy should go to the other party.
Can I request information about me from my employer?
Yes. Data protection law gives you the right to know the type of personal information your employer holds about you, why that information is being held, how the information is being used or will be used, and who will be able to access that information. This is known as a data subject access request.
Can I get a copy of my write-up?
In many states, employees have the right to view, or request a copy of, their personnel files. Your employer is required by law to document certain information about you, including your wages and hours, workplace injuries and illnesses, and tax withholding, as well as records of accrued vacation and other benefits.
Can I request a copy of a write-up at work?
Copying records: Employee or former employee also has a right to a copy of personnel records, at the employee's cost, within 30 days of making a written request.
