Great software
Great software! Very easy to use and does just about everything you would want a PDF editor to do. The only issue I had was when replacing text the text box deleted the line the text was sitting on and I ended up with a break in the line. Other than that I highly recommend!

Can GIMP import PSD?
GIMP should be your first stop when trying to open and edit a PSD file for free. Not only is it the best free alternative to Photoshop, but it's available across Windows, Mac, and Linux, so you can learn it once and use it on all of your systems. And if it wasn't clear, yes, PSD support is built right into the app.
Can I convert a file to PSD?
Converting a JPG to a PSD is easy to do in WinZip, and once you have the new PSD, you can simply open it up in Photoshop. Just bear in mind that as a JPG is a flat, compressed image, it will only appear in Photoshop as a single layer, and you will not be able to edit any layers individually.
What is XCF in Photoshop?
XCF, short for eXperimental Computing Facility, is the native image format of the GIMP image-editing program. It saves all of the data the program handles related to the image, including, among others, each layer, the current selection, channels, transparency, paths and guides.
How to convert XCF to PSD?
