Accounting Assistant This software made it easy for me to complete a single 1099-MISC that i needed and that i wasn't able to use my current software for. I was able to quickly create the document and send it out to the necessary party on a time crunch. This would not be good to use for a large amount of 1099's but, it did meet my needs.

The only complaint that I have is that… The only complaint that I have is that in the editing section it isn't user friendly. Select the text you want to format. Selecting text to format. Select the Page Layout tab, then click the Columns command. A drop-down menu will appear. Select the number of columns you want to create. Formatting text into columns. The text will format into columns. The formatted text.
Click File > Open. Double-click This PC. (In Word 2013, double-click Computer). Browse to the Custom Office Templates folder that's under My Documents. Click your template, and click Open. Make the changes you want, then save and close the template.
On the File tab, click Open. Go to C:\\Users\\username\\Appear\\Roaming\\Microsoft\\Templates. Open the Normal template (Normal. Dotm). Make any changes that you want to the fonts, margins, spacing, and other settings. When you have finished, click the File tab, and then click Save.
Launch Microsoft Word and open the template to edit by clicking the Open option on the File tab. To find templates more quickly, click the Files drop-down menu and select All Word Templates, then double-click the template to edit.

Open the Microsoft Word Template file (*.dot) Edit it. Save it under another name. Close Microsoft Word. Delete the original and rename the new one to replace the original.
