In a Web browser, open the document library where the form template was published. On the Settings menu, click Settings, and then click Form Library Settings. Under General Settings, click Advanced settings. In the Document Template section, click Edit Template.
If you open your Downloaded Word Template and are unable to edit, this generally means that you are in Protected View. To edit the template, select Enable Editing at the top of your word document. Once you select this option you can now edit your template.
Under Table Tools, click the Design tab. In the Table Styles group, rest the pointer over each table style until you find a style that you want to use. Note: To see more styles, click the More arrow . Click the style to apply it to the table.
Browse to the Custom Office Templates folder under My Documents. Choose your template, and select Open. Make the changes you want, then save and close the template.
Select any cell in the table you want to use to create a custom style. On the Home tab, click Format as Table, or expand the Table Styles gallery from the Table Tools > Design tab (the Table tab on a Mac). Click New Table Style, which will launch the New Table Style dialog.
