How do I update my Em signer for GST?

Visit GST online portal at www.gst.gov.in. Click Login to enter into portal > Enter your login details and hit Enter. Click Register/update DSC under your login details as shown below: Click on Click here for instructions on installing signer utility

How do I activate GST on Em signer?

Run the em signer as administrator. Open the portal, fill the appropriate details go to till update register DSC. Click on Advanced. Click proceed to 127.0.0.1(unsafe) Come back to GST portal, refresh the page. Click on register Digital signature.

How do I change my GST Em signer port?

Install Java on your computer. Go to Control Panel Open Java settings. Click on the Security tab. Click on Edit site list. Add desired port for e.g: https://127.0.0.1:1585 on that list.

How do I digitally sign with Em signer?

Select Digital signature button to sign the document using crypto tokens and click Sign button. If em signer utility is already present in your system, it will run in the background.

How do I reboot my Em signer?

Update java with the latest version. Install em signer with the latest version (Currently 2.6 version available) Restart the computer. Login to GST portal via Google Chrome. Start em signer utility with administrator right (Right click and Run as administrator) Click Register DSC Add/Update on GST portal.
