Can I reschedule my immigration interview?

To request a rescheduling, the normal method is to write to the USCIS office where the interview was scheduled to take place, and explain the situation. Include a request that you be given a new interview date, and mention any pertinent scheduling information, such as the length of time that you will be hospitalized.

How long does it take USCIS to reschedule an interview?

You should then expect to receive an interview cancellation notice and a new appointment notice in the mail. The new appointment can take approximately 4-8 weeks, or sometimes longer, to be scheduled.

Yes you can reschedule. Instructions should be on the letter. You can also go to your local USCIS office and request a rescheduling. They approve the first one as a courtesy, however USCIS STRONGLY suggest that you DO NOT reschedule your interview.
