Which device do you have? In my Note 4, I go to my stock Messages app > tap the 3 vertical dots at the top of the page > Settings > scroll almost to the bottom of the page > tap Signature > tap the slider at the top of the page and change it to “Off”.
Open the Messages app. Press the Menu located in the upper-right corner of the screen. Choose Settings. Tap Add signature to messages to enable text message signatures, then tap Edit signature text. Type your desired signature, then select OK.
You can place signatures on text messages in a variety of ways, either through your phone or a third-party application. ... Other phones allow you to change the signature by going into the “Options” menu, choosing “SMS” or short messaging service options, and going into a “SIG” or “Signature” option.
Tap the Menu icon (located in the upper-right). Tap the Signature switch to turn on or off. A signature is automatically attached to each sent text message when the switch is in the on position. Enter or edit the preferred signature then tap SAVE.
In the mail app, hit the menu key or more option on the toolbar, depending on the Android version. Select Settings. Tap on the email address that you would like to change the signature. Tap on Signature.

At the main screen, touch the Action Overflow icon. On some phones, touch the Menu icon to see the actions or commands. Choose your Gmail account from the list. Touch your e-mail address. Choose Signature. Type or dictate your signature. Touch OK.
Tap on the Settings app. Tap on Mail, Contacts, Calendars Scroll down a way and then tap on Signature Tap Clear, or just select all the text and delete it manually.
