Easy to use, unlike other fill and sign apps, it can tell the right size text. It can tell the what parts of the document requires the text. The variety of templates to use for common forms needed for most people. Also a generous 30 day trial A ++++

I only needed one form to send to my doctor to fill out for medical baseline allowance. Somehow I didn't end up in SDG&E site as their program is free.

Other than being billed initially for a 30 days trial, I contacted Customer Service right away and they credited me back the $144 first year right away. Otherwise, I am liking the service so far. Just learning how to use it.

How do you account for license fees?
The fees that the business paid for those licenses are included as an expense. If the license is for multiple years or accounting periods and is acquired by paying an initial fee, the license is recorded as an asset on the balance sheet and its value equals what it cost to acquire the license.
Can license fees be capitalized?
In most cases, the cost of the license fee should be capitalized and amortized over its estimated useful life. The amortization period should include any period covered by an option where the customer is reasonably likely to renew. Implementation costs in the application development stage should also be capitalized.
Are licenses CapEx or OpEx?
CapEx vs. Generally, licensing comes either in the form of capital or operational expenses. For your accounting team, a capital expense is a one-time purchase that is a depreciating asset. Hardware is a typical CapEx, while cloud servers would be OpEx.
Can Microsoft licenses be capitalized?
This is an accounting question which depends on the type of license. For example, Microsoft Office Pro Plus is an on-premise, perpetual license which may be considered a capital expense. Office 365 however, is a subscription-based product paid monthly and would be considered to be an operating expense.
What is a typical licensing fee?
Royalty rates vary per industry, but a good rule of thumb is between 2-3% on the low end, and 7-10% on the high end. I have licensed consumer products for as low as 3% and as high as 7%, with 5% being the most common and a generally fair number.
