Good company with a great product
This is a good company with a great product. I am a retired attorney who was in need of a certification of trust for our family living trust. I checked pdfFiller and found what I needed but then realized that in my experience as a lawyer, I already knew the basics of what had to be done. So I cancelled the subscription and within minutes, received word from pdfFiller that the subscription would be cancelled. An honest company that is responsive, with good products - can't do better than that.

I liked their services
I liked their services, but didn't need them long term. I had thought that I had canceled my account right afterward, but still was charged when the trial period was up. I contacted them on a Sunday, expecting it to take a few days and be a nightmare. Even though it was the weekend they had it taken care of and refunded to me within a few hours! I would definitely use them again because of how trustworthy and understanding the staff was. Good job PDF Filler Team!

pdfFiller provides what it offers-you…
pdfFiller provides what it offers-you can add text, and signs (such as the check sign where applicable on boxes) and there are a lot of other features to share the document, from email to links etc. Best part is that it doesn't alter the original PDF format.

How do I account for wage garnishment?
Go to Lists >Chart of Accounts. Right click and choose to add New. Choose Other Current Liability as the account type. Name it Wage Garnishments Payable.
What type of account is a garnishment?
garnishment payable definition. This current liability account reports the amount a company must remit to a court or other agencies for amounts withheld from its employees' salaries and wages.
Can you be garnished without being served?
Judgment Creditors Regular creditors cannot garnish your wages without first suing you in court and obtaining a money judgment. That means that if you owe money to a credit card company, doctor, dentist, furniture company, or the like, you don't have to worry about garnishment unless those creditors sue you in court.
What type of bank accounts Cannot be garnished?
Certain types of income cannot be garnished or frozen in a bank account. Foremost among these are federal and state benefits, such as Social Security payments. Not only is a creditor forbidden from taking this money through garnishment, but, after it has been deposited in an account, a creditor cannot freeze it.
Who can garnish your checking account?
Unfortunately, at this point, all your assets are at risk once the creditor has a judgment against you. The most common creditor acts are to levy a bank account or to garnish your wages. A bank levy means that the creditor, with court approval, removes all funds that are in your bank accounts.
Can you stop a garnishment once it starts?
You must take action to prevent the initial garnishment or address it if it has already started by claiming an exemption with the court. The creditor will continue to garnish your wages until you pay the debt in full or take some measure to stop the garnishment, such as by filing for bankruptcy (see below).
Can you reverse a wage garnishment?
One way to end your wage garnishment is to call your creditor and get them to agree to a repayment plan. Look at your budget and see what you can pay. Then can call your creditor and see if they will agree to a repayment plan for you to pay a lower monthly amount than the garnishment.
How can I stop student loan wage garnishment after it starts?
