You can view the delivery status of packages at the bottom of your Informed Delivery® email. The daily email digest will not always show all packages destined to your address that day. i.e., items scanned into our system after the email has been sent.
How do you find out what mail is being delivered?
Just click the Settings link on the dashboard to access email notification options. You can sign up for Informed Delivery online. The USPS will mail you a confirmation code in a letter to the address you provide, verifying that you are who you say you are before allowing you access to this information.
How do I know if USPS has my mail?
While it is highly recommended that you submit your search request online, you can also request a search for your missing tailpiece by visiting your local Post Office location or calling your local Consumer Affairs office at 1-800-275-8777.
What is the latest mail is delivered?
Normally most all deliveries should be completed by 6:00pm. But in light of the USPS extreme cost-cutting measures, and lack of proper hiring, at times mail is being delivered as late as 9:00pm (sad to say) in some areas of the country.
Does inform delivery delay mail?
Informed Delivery® provides notifications for tailpieces arriving soon — not necessarily tailpieces arriving that same day. Pieces can be delayed in getting to your mail carrier. Or, unfortunately, a tailpiece could be misdelivered. Unfortunately, an occasional piece of mail may fail to reach its destination.
Is informed delivery accurate?
The informed delivery system is not accurate. We sometimes find the same item scanned for two or three days before it is delivered.
How do you see my mail before it's delivered?
