In my opinion this application is very powerful, however not so intuitive, and I had to spend an inordinate amount of time in chat with technical support personnel. I would be happy to explain further.

I'm a little bit new at the process, but I'm interested in learning as much as possible about any new technologies, that will save me a little bit of time.

There are over 135 different sign languages around the world, including American Sign Language (ASL), British Sign Language (BSL) and Australian Sign Language (Asian). Most countries that share a spoken language do not share the same sign language.
There is no universal sign language. Different sign languages are used in different countries or regions. For example, British Sign Language (BSL) is a different language from ASL, and Americans who know ASL may not understand BSL.
ASL has its own idioms, syntax and grammar. ASL is signed in countries around the world.
ASL and LSF (French Sign Language) are today significantly different. Thus, like English, ASL has become something of a colonizing language, and therefore, I would say it is probably currently more widespread than is BSL.
In fact, there are somewhere between 138 and 300 different types of sign language used throughout the world today. New sign languages frequently evolve amongst groups of deaf children and adults.
Perhaps the most obvious difference is that ASL uses a One- handed finger spelling alphabet while BSL uses a two-handed alphabet. The BSL sign is similar, except that the index and middle fingers (held together) make the movement. However, in BSL, the sign for “Hearing person" is the same sign for "Deaf” in ASL.
Sign languages are full-fledged natural languages with their own grammar and lexicon. Sign languages are not universal, and they are not mutually intelligible with each other, although there are also striking similarities amongst sign languages.
American Sign Language: “too much" TOO-MUCH! This sign is similar to the sign “more than" but the nonmanual marker (body language) is one of a negative head shake, an "ooh" mouth morpheme, and squinted eyes. Also, the right-hand travels in a backward arc as it moves upward.
American Sign Language: “from" The sign for "from" starts with the dominant hand in a “1" handshape (as an index finger), and then changes into an “x." The base hand: Starts and STAYS as an index finger. Pull the dominant hand back away from the non-dominant hand as if pulling back a string on a bow.
Signing: To sign same close your index, middle and ring finger and extend your thumb and pinky pointing in opposite directions. Move your dominant hand back and forth creating an arch while each finger points to the objects that are equal.
American Sign Language: “a lot" or "much" The sign for "a lot" is a variation of the sign “big" except that the hands on "a lot" are “loose 5 handshapes" and are pointed a bit more upward. A-LOT: This sign can be used to mean “much" or to indicate a large amount of something “uncountable" (such as "a lot of water.")
”ILY"- Using one hand, fold in your middle and ring finger. This creates “ILY" or "I love you" in ASL. "I LOVE YOU”- Using your index finger, point to yourself to say “I", then cross both arms over your chest as if you are giving yourself a bear hug with fisted hands to say “LOVE".
The love-you gesture, or I love you hand sign emoji is the American Sign Language gesture for “I love you," showing a hand with a raised index finger and pinky (little) finger and an extended thumb. It comes in a range of skin tones.
My name is. Sign my: It's a flat hand on your chest, my. Name: Your first two fingers tap the top of your other two fingers. They make a shape like an X.
