We thought this was a bit scammy when we were charged for a plan no one recalled signing up for but once we found the email address associated with the account they cancelled the subscription and refunded the charge, no questions asked. Very pleased!

It was smooth and easy to understand. My only question or concern is. When submitting my corrected 1099 to is IRS via your site. I was not sure which copy it was sending. It did not give me an option. I hope the correct copy was sent to the IRS.

How is column chromatography used?
Column chromatography is frequently used by organic chemists to purify liquids (and solids.) An impure sample is loaded onto a column of adsorbent, such as silica gel or alumina. An organic solvent or a mixture of solvents (the fluent) flows down through the column.
What is column packing in distillation?
Distillation Column Packing. Packed distillation columns are filled or “packed” with a material that allows rising vapors to contact descending condensate. The more vapor liquid contact the better the separation. Packing material of construction should be compatible with the material being distilled.
Why packing is used in distillation column?
Packing material can be used instead of trays to improve separation in distillation columns. Packing offers the advantage of a lower pressure drop across the column (when compared to plates or trays), which is beneficial while operating under vacuum.
What is the role of column packing?
Packed columns are used for distillation, gas absorption and liquid-liquid extraction. The gas-liquid contact in a packed column is continuous, not stage-wise, as in a plate column. The liquid flows down in the column over a packing surface and the vapor (or the gas) moves counter-currently, up the column.
