hello everyone and welcome to my channel so today I will be showing you guys a few tips on how to write straight without using a ruler this video was highly requested in my last handwriting video which I will link on the top right hand corner as well as in the description so please check that out also there weren't a lot of videos on this topic so I thought it would be nice if I went ahead and filled it real quick so without further ado and let's go ahead and get started okay so the first thing I want to go over is keeping your hand steady now as you can see I am moving my whole entire hand when I write and this is what I usually do I don't move my fingers that often because I don't want any loose letters so the only time I move my hand or my finger is when I create down strokes so keep your hands steady when you write them so really quick I am going to demonstrate the importance of type size and the reason why is because regardless if your writing really small and really big this will help you align your letters in a way that they will be straight constantly so what I mean by this so for example the letters P L F K and H are all tall letters because they reach the very the highest point on the writing guide and the lowest point so letters that only reach halfway like Co EE s only take up the bottom half of the writing guide so we are going to use the letter H as an example because if a sender is tall while the shoulder is half of the offender but we can use that to determine where our small letters should be placed and where a tall letter should be placed now we really shouldn't mind the top margin because that's not what's really important what's important is the base line because that's where your letters are going to lay on and that is where the letters are going to be straight and aligned when writing without a ruler because that is what we are here for right folks okay so the next tip is to just draw straight horizontal or vertical lines this is a great exercise to keep your hand steady well that is a little fun tip another tip I would like to share is to take your time when you're writing of course this is obvious but when you're taking your time you have more control of your group and you will allow yourself to look back and check any mistakes you may have made along the way you can also eyeball or estimate your type size to make sure your letters are aligned and that they are not falling into a slope this may sound like it's a lot of math and a lot of thinking but once you get the hang of it and you practice it will become second nature to you so I will show you an example of how my handwriting looks like when I am writing fast when I am writing really fast I am not aware of the alignment of the words and I am just allowing them to fall in a decreasing slope because there's no guy for me to follow so take your time because it's really important if you want to write straight on a blank piece of paper if all else fails use a pencil to...
