How do I remove details from a PDF?
Choose Tools > Redact. On the Edit menu, choose Redact Text & Images. Select the text or image in a PDF, right-click, and select Redact.
How do I remove metadata from a PDF in Windows 10?
Here's how: Go to File Explorer. Select one or more files in Windows Explorer. Right-click > select Properties from the contextual menu. Go to the Details tab > click Remove Properties and Personal Information to open the Remove Properties dialog.
Does converting PDF remove metadata?
Printing documents to PDF format removes revision metadata but it does not remove file description metadata. PDF files retain some basic file description metadata, such as author, file name, and date, which can be minimized if the proper conversion settings are used (see page 31).
