Restore Past Versions of A Document
Have you ever started editing a PDF only to get to a point where you need a version of your document that you had several steps back? Or maybe you’ve been collaborating on a document and want to use a version you had before your colleagues made changes? Well if you’ve ever been in either of these circumstances, pdfFiller has the perfect tool for you! pdfFiller ‘Versions’ tool keeps track of the changes you make after each document editing session. Here’s how it works. You may have noticed that anytime you have hit ‘Done’ after editing a document in the pdfFiller editor, a window pops open telling you that a version of your document has been saved along with the date and time. Next time you open that document in the editor, you can click on the small double arrow on top of the ‘Versions’ bar to the right side of your editing window. When you open the Versions tool, you’ll notice a list of versions labeled with the date and time that you made specific changes to the document. When you click on one of the dates and times, you will see an orange button appear that says “Restore this Version”. Clicking on the button will reinstate the version of the document you have selected. Keep in mind that even if you reinstate an older version of the document, all the versions will continue to be stored in the list. To return to the current version, you can simply close the Versions tool. So relax! pdfFiller has got your back when it comes to keeping control of your document changes! How do you undo changes in
The undo button is an arrow pointing left, the redo button is an arrow pointing right. Alternatively, you can undo the last changes by pressing Ctrl+Z. You can reverse the last undo command by pressing Shift+Ctrl+Z. A tip: before you start editing a document or filling a form, make a backup copy of the blank document.

What does purged mean on
By default, stores your envelopes and their documents indefinitely. Your data policies, however, may require you to purge (permanently delete) some of your documents, metadata, and personally identifiable information (PII) from completed envelopes.
How do I recover an expired document?
Once logged in, navigate to your account settings where you can locate the 'Documents' section. In this section, search for the expired document by using keywords or the date of signing. After locating the document, you can either choose to restore it or resend it for signing.
Can I retrieve deleted documents?
If a document was mistakenly deleted or needs to be restored, you can recover it from the trash in CLM. Deleted content is organized into folders by date of deletion (in YYYYMMDD format). Note: Users can only delete CLM files and folders to which they have at least View, Edit & Delete access.
