I had to send an important medical document on short notice and needed to fill a pdf document that was not fillable. I quickly did a search on the internet and found the pdfFilter. To my surprise, it was effortless to do, and was able to send the document in a timely manner.

Simple tool that increases productivity in office I'm a software engineer and have to deal with many documents everyday. Having a simple tool that has all the features needed for me to edit and handle all my documents makes my life easier. At the same time it saves me time to look up new tools and ways everyday. The UI is simple and intuitive, and it's easy to attach files, download and share it as needed. Overall it makes me more productive in office. My favourite feature is the electronic/digital signature feature. As a person in the IT department, I have to work with numerous documents and sign many of them. And this tool made that really easy for me. Also, the signature looks blended out and not out of place. Other than that the merging tool and conversion tool are also very helpful. Depending on my needs, sometimes I can convert a ppt into a pdf for easy access or for sending it to anyone. I also get to attach different pdfs together in whatever order needed. I don't have any major concerns. The only small problem I've had is regarding character recognition from scanned pdfs. Sometimes it is not entirely accurate. Though it is manageable for me.

How to edit PDF files: Open a file in Acrobat. Click the “Edit PDF” tool in the right pane. Use Acrobat editing tools: Add new text, edit text or update fonts using selections from the Format list. Save your edited PDF: Name your file and click the “Save” button. That's it.
@Gareth_Lock Notes and annotations are saved on the PDF itself. If you have Google Drive Sync enabled, all highlights, notes and annotations will be available on the PDFs in Google Drive. If you don't have sync enabled, and choose instead to individually save the PDFs to disk, the annotations will also be available.
Open your PDF document. Click the Select Tool icon on the toolbar or right-click on the document and choose the Select Tool from the right-click menu. Select Text by left-clicking and dragging cursor over text in the document. Note: Marking-up text is a permanent action upon saving the document.
You can change the way PDF Annotator handles annotations. Click on the Extras menu option and then choose Settings. This opens the options dialog box. In the SAVE category, choose Persistence.
Using Ctrl + Drag Any selected annotation can be duplicated by holding the Ctrl (⌘ on Mac) key and then clicking on the selected annotation and dragging to where you would like to place the copied annotation.
Use the tools in the toolbar to mark up the PDF (or use the Touch Bar). Note: To save a PDF and allow annotations to be edited later, choose one of the following: File > Save, File > Export, or File > Export to PDF. (PDFs are also saved with editable annotations when they're saved automatically.)
To save a copy of your annotated PDF for future viewing using the document viewer or any other PDF viewer that supports annotations: Click File options ▸ Save As… Choose a name and folder in which to save the file, then click Save. The PDF will be saved in the folder you chose.
The annotations are automatically saved to the document. There are several options for sharing documents. Which method you use will depend on the purpose of the PDF.
